FDDO/ Seminar
The first weekend in May was a busy one for us. On Saturday we went to Farmington Ct. for a Flying Disc Dog Open.
Moshi ended up the matchplay champion, and Java was the overall reserve champion. It was a great way to start out the
frisbee season. On Sunday we attended the first official event of our new frisbee club. It was a seminar
by Ron Watson! It was a long day, but it was full of information, and great throwing and training advice!! For more info on our new club, NeWDD (North East Wild Disc Dogs), check us out on facebook. While you're
at it check out Pawstars on facebook and keep up to date on all our events and travels.

Festival Of Dogs/ Dover Day Camp
We just finished the Harlem Valley Chamber's 1st annual Festival Of Dogs. It was a great weekend of
dog sports. Pawstars put on a flyball demonstration as well as a great frisbee show. We also got to do "try
it" frisbee lessons all day. We had a great time and helped alot of dogs get started in frisbee. All of our
dogs also got to dock dive. Moshi is now catching her toy mid air, and still going over 17 feet!! Fuzer is also
getting used to the dock. He will now jump right in , after only 2 times on the dock! Just thismorning we
got to do a frisbee show for the town of Dover day camp. 95 kids lined up to watch the show and cheer for the dogs.
They also all got to throw for the dogs. Some of the kids could really throw! It was a great time, we are looking
forward to working with the town of Dover again.

Northeast Regional
June 27th in Millersville Penn. was the date of the Skyhoundz Regional Qualifier. About 100 teams competed for
1 of four spots in Distance and Accuracy. Kara and Java made to the second round and finished in 5th place- a half point away
from a spot at the world finals. I competed in Freestyle with Java and Moshi. Both Moshi and Java got
to the second round with good freestyle scores, but DA was tough. After the second round of freestyle Java was in 7th.
Moshi won the second round of freestyle and earned a spot at the World Finals in Chattanooga Tenn. in September!!!!
Can't wait to compete with Moshi against the best of the best!

Busy!
We have been very busy as the weather has warmed up, lots of practice and local competitions. We have also been busy
teaching both classes and private lessons. Our workshop at Leading The Way Dog Training was a success, with lots of
happy people and dogs. We also had a great time at the June session of Camp Unleashed doing a frisbee show and some throwing lessons. We did our first show of the year at Dutchess Stadium- Java and Moshi
did great. Lalo even came out to meet some kids and get pet. We are now getting ready for the Festival of Dogs
at ledgewood Kennels. We are also looking forward to the first Canine Magic tent at the Altamont Fair! All
of this and we still managed to foster a great little rescue pup from Georgia for a few weeks.
