Fuze and the FurFighter
Back in May, Kara took Fuze for a photo shoot in the city for a new product called a FurFighter. There were two
dogs doing the ad, Fuze and another dog. We had seen ads with the other dog but nothing with Fuze, until last week.
Fuze got a full page spread in Real Simple magazine- he looks great!!

"Fala Gala"
We had plans to go to River Fest in Maryland for the final FDDO competition in our area over the weekend. Do
to some last minute changes we were unable to go, but this did enable us to participate in the 2nd annual "Fala Gala"
in Rhinebeck NY. For those of you that don't know, Fala was president Roosevelts' (FDR) dog. Fala
was bred in Rhinebeck at a home that is now a park called Wilderstein. The "Fala Gala" was a fundraiser for
the Wilderstein park. It had a Scottish theme including a shortbread cook off, scotch tasting, dog parade, as well as
Pawstars frisbee show. We had a great time, Kara even won the shortbread cook off with our friend Ian's "Duncan
Family Shortbread Recipe"!! Fuze even painted a picture, Pawstars colors of course. We are already looking
forward to next time!

Dutchess County Fair- Pai-Mei!!
Since our last post we have been going nonstop. We had three competitions, and Moshi and I got back in the groove
taking first place in freestyle at all three! We also got to do our favorite show of the year - The Dutchess County
Fair. This year Kara, Michelle, and I were joined by our friend Polly Kaplin and her great dog Moe. We added some some
variety to the show, and it was a huge success!! Our great friends Nadja and Kara from www.hookedondogs.net set up the mobile unit of their store at our booth. They also became Pawstars first sponsor. They provided
all of our frisbees for givaways and use in the show. (Thanks guys!) We are already planning for next year! Onother thing that has been keeping us busy is Pai-Mei, better known around the house as Mei-Mei. She is a
six month old cattle dog (Mix?) that Kara found on Craigs list. We weren't looking for a dog, but when she came along
we knew we had to keep her. She is going to be an unbelievable frisbee dog-I love her!!
